Participants, including building staff, security personnel, and emergency teams, followed pre-planned escape routes to designated assembly points while AK Fire Engineering’s team deployed fire extinguishers, hose reels, and monitored hydrant systems. Special focus was placed on right-hand drive vehicle zones and high-footfall areas.

After evacuation, the team conducted a comprehensive debrief, noting key performance metrics such as response time, equipment deployment, and communication flow. The drill concluded with actionable recommendations to improve safety protocols, equipment maintenance schedules, and staff training. With this proactive approach, AK Fire Engineering reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding lives, protecting assets, and boosting fire-safety resilience in Mohali’s urban centres.

Fire-safety team members from AK Fire Engineering coordinated the exercise, deploying extinguishers, checking hose‐reel readiness, and testing fire-hydrant systems. A mock fire-engine arrived on-site to test external emergency response coordination.

The drill focused on key performance measures such as evacuation time, equipment deployment speed, and communication clarity. Following the exercise, a debrief was held to review findings: blocked escape routes were identified, signage clarified, and fire-equipment maintenance schedules revised. All occupants moved swiftly to the designated assembly area while onsite safety teams deployed portable extinguishers and inspected hose-reel and hydrant systems.

The drill also evaluated the building’s emergency lighting, stair-well signage and communication with local fire services. After the drill, a debrief highlighted strengths — such as quick evacuation and clear signage — and pointed out areas for improvement, including blocked escape routes and delayed utility shut-off.
